Retro Movie Poster of the Day - The Maltese Falcon

The Maltese Falcon is kind of a proto-noir - it's got a lot of the elements of a full blown film noir, but it's not quite there. It was directed by John Huston, and is one of my all time favs. Bogart is awesome as usual.

I'm happy that this movie is actually good. Still a little nervous about The Hulk though. Am I the only person that liked the Ang Lee film?

Retro Movie Poster of the Day: The Third Man

Today's retro poster of the day comes from Carol Reed's timeless film noir classic: TheThird Man - starring Joseph Cotten and the late, great Orsen Welles. This is one of my all time favorite films, and is certainly one of the greatest film noir ever created.

Courtesy of AICN are these two new posters for Michael Bay's upcoming Transformers movie.
